The Career Advisor Training: Employability Skills course teaches knowledge and strategies to support job seekers.
The following competencies are covered in this course:
- Demonstrate knowledge of the job-search strategies and documents and be able to communicate that knowledge to job seekers.
- Teach clients how to find job openings.
- Assist clients to prepare for effective cover letters and resumes.
- Teach clients how to have an effective job interview.
